More About Me

Find out more about buying or selling in the Portland Vancouver Metro Area

Real Estate Broker licensed in both Oregon and Washington

About me:

I enjoyed growing up here in the Portland Vancouver area; my childhood in Troutdale OR on a large farm, that's been in the family since the 1950's, and still operates today - now mostly subdivisions.

I've had the pleasure of owning property and living in Gresham, Lake Oswego, Vancouver, WA (Downtown and Fisher’s Landing) as well as a beach house on the Oregon Coast.  Outside of the Portland Metro Area, I've lived in Seattle & Bellevue Washington as well as San Francisco & Cupertino California.

My career / background:

Having worked for such notable companies as Alaska Airlines (Account Executive), American Express Corporate Travel Services (Manager of Business Development) and the Oregonian Media Group (parent company Conde Nast – Advance Publication).  I’ve gained the experience and valuable skills on the importance of listening, and negotiating skills that I hope to put into good use assisting my Real Estate clients.  Awards:  American Express - President's Club and Oregonian Media Group - Circle of Excellence

I truly believe in building relationships and the importance of going the extra mile to instill trust and respect.  I pride myself on being informed and providing clients with the most up-to-date information/data on today’s fast changing market – knowledge is power and the more knowledge I bring to the table the more prepared I am to help you reach your goal.  “Clients come first” is not just a cliché but truly how I have chosen to conduct my business throughout my career.   You will find that I answer my phone, unless I’m in a meeting – or will return your call usually within an hour.

About You:

What are your goals, needs and overall criteria when selling or buying property?  I'm here to help whether your property goals take you to Oregon or Washington.  Growing up in the Portland/Vancouver Metro Area, I understand the different aspects on both sides of the Columbia River.

For example – those new to the area - Washington does not have Income Tax and Oregon does not have Sales Tax.  Both states do have the beauty of the Pacific NW- with trails for walking, hiking or biking.  There’s easy access to the Mountains for skiing or the Ocean for fishing, and not to mention the amazing Restaurants, Brew Pubs, Wineries, Shopping, Theater, and so much more!

Is sooner better than later?  Either way - I’m happy to meet for coffee at our office in Vancouver, WA to discuss your goals in more detail.
